Its commissioning marks not merely the completion of a project, but the beginning of a new phase of development for the region.

“Today, in the joyful atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30, I am very pleased to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Hoa Binh – Xuan Mai Clean Water Plant, organized by AquaOne Water Joint Stock Company in Ky Son Ward, Phu Tho Province. This is a significant event, marking a new milestone in water infrastructure development, contributing to improving people’s livelihoods and promoting socio-economic growth in the locality and the region.

The Hoa Binh – Xuan Mai Clean Water Plant project, invested by AquaOne Water Joint Stock Company and developed by Hoa Binh Xuan Mai Clean Water Co., Ltd., has been implemented on a large scale, with a total investment of over VND 5,100 billion in Phase 1. The initial capacity reaches 150,000 cubic meters per day and will be further expanded in subsequent phases.
The project utilizes water from the Da River—one of the most stable and high-quality water sources—to supply clean water to Hoa Binh and Ky Son wards, Luong Son commune, and surrounding industrial zones. At the same time, it supplements an important water source for Hanoi, particularly in the western and southwestern areas, as well as nearby urban, industrial, and rural regions. After a period of intensive and responsible construction, overcoming numerous challenges, the project has now been completed and officially put into operation. This achievement reflects the strong determination of the investor, the close coordination of relevant stakeholders, the active support of authorities at all levels, and the consensus of local communities.
