On March 14th, 2019, morning, Mr. Hoang Trung Hai, Member of Political Bureau, Party Secretary, Head of Hanoi constituent delegation, paid a working visit to Duong River Water Treatment Plant. The Plant has invetment capital of nearly VND 5.000 billion, comprises 2 components: water intake – raw water pumping station, built on 61.5ha in Phu Dong and Trung Mau communes (Gia Lam distyrtict). The pipes bring clean water over 76km to the districts of Long Bien, Hoang Mai, Gia Lam, Soc Son, Dong Anh, Thanh Tri and some adjacent areas of Hung Yen provinces. To date, the project has been one year ahead of schedule. In the immediate future, the Plant will expand and raise capacity to 600,000 m3/daynight in 2023; 900,000m3/daynight in 2030 and 1,200,000m3/daynight in 2050.
